Reaching the North Cape plateau and the globe monument costs nothing: in July 2026 the County Governor ordered Scandic to stop charging for parking and plateau access. What you pay for is North Cape Hall, the visitor centre on the cliff, at NOK 360 for adults, NOK 100 for children aged 6 to 16, NOK 200 for students and NOK 820 for two adults and two children; under-6s are free and no senior rate is listed. The ticket covers the panoramic film, exhibitions, the Cave of Lights, the chapel and the viewing areas, allows re-entry, and is needed even for the cafe or toilets. The hall opens all year with short winter hours, but in winter the last stretch of road is driven in convoy at fixed times, so most winter visitors come by bus.
