What to know
The funicular from central Bergen to Mount Floyen costs NOK 200 return for adults and NOK 100 for children aged 4 to 15 at the ticket office from 1 April to 30 September; the app, website and ticket machines charge NOK 220 and NOK 120 in that period. One way is NOK 105 at the office. From 1 October to 31 March, fares drop to NOK 145 return for adults and NOK 70 for children, and a NOK 100 honnor return for those 67 and over is sold only in this off-season. Under-4s and dogs ride free. A family ticket for two adults and two children costs NOK 500 in summer and NOK 365 in winter. Walking up is free and takes 30 to 45 minutes.
