Fantoft is a faithful reconstruction of a medieval stave church, rebuilt after arson destroyed the original, moved here from Sogn, in 1992. Admission is NOK 90 for adults, NOK 70 for students with ID and NOK 50 for children; no child age band or senior rate is published. Payment is by card only, and ticket sales stop 15 minutes before closing. In autumn it opens Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00 until 1 December, then closes for winter until mid-May, when daily summer hours resume. The interior is not wheelchair accessible. Bergen Card holders get 25 percent off. Take the light rail to Fantoft and follow the signs up the hill.

The planner warns of wet in September, October, November. Outside those months it says nothing, which is the point — a warning that fires every day is one nobody reads.
