Borgund Stave Church, built around 1180, is owned and run by the National Trust of Norway. You enter through the visitor centre opposite the church, and the ticket covers the church, the stave church exhibition and a display of Viking Age finds. The cafe and toilets are for ticket holders only. Adults pay NOK 150, children under 16 and students NOK 100, and seniors from 65 NOK 130, with no residency rule stated. A family ticket at NOK 350 is cheaper than two adults and two children bought separately. The season runs from mid-April to mid-October, daily 09:30 to 17:00, with a shortened last day, and the church does not open in winter.
