A boat fare rather than an admission, and which pier you leave from changes the cost several times over. The cheap way is the city's own public boat from Kali Adem, priced by zone: Pulau Pramuka and Pulau Tidung are IDR 54,000 one way, so 108,000 return, including the pier charge and insurance. The nearer islands are 44,000 and the furthest 74,000. The comfortable way is a fast boat from Marina Ancol at roughly four times that, which no operator publishes a scheduled fare for - and boarding there means buying the Ancol gate ticket first, which Kali Adem does not. No island charges an entry levy, though the national park has a conservation fee that day visitors are not reliably asked for.

The planner warns of wet in January, February. Outside those months it says nothing, which is the point — a warning that fires every day is one nobody reads.
