What to know
IDR 150,000 for a foreign visitor - raised from 50,000 on 1 January 2026, so almost everything written before then is out of date - against 50,000 for an Indonesian, the widest gap of the Jakarta sites. Children under 3 go free and school pupils pay 30,000, banded by school level rather than by age. University students no longer enter free and now pay the adult rate. It reopened in October 2024 after the 2023 fire, which damaged about a quarter of the complex, and is operating normally with no closure notice - though restoration work has continued since and an immersive gallery was added. Closed Mondays and on public holidays.
