about AED 45.40
2 adults and 2 children aged 6 and 14, priced against this venue’s own published age bands.
The town is free. Climbing Sibayak is not, and the charge comes in layers because the trailhead sits in a provincial forest park rather than the regency: IDR 50,000 entry for a foreign visitor, another 20,000 for the climb itself, and 10,000 to park a car - so about 80,000 all in, against 20,000 for an Indonesian. In practice climbers report being charged a flat 10,000 at the post, which has been the subject of a local dispute, so what you actually pay may be less than the regulation says. No guide is compulsory.

The planner warns of wet in September, October, November. Outside those months it says nothing, which is the point — a warning that fires every day is one nobody reads.
