What to know
Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park charges A$14.40 per vehicle, not per person, so the cost is the same whether one person or five are in the car and it cannot be sensibly quoted as an adult ticket. Pay before you arrive. Camping inside the park starts at A$12.30 a night. If you are touring several South Australian parks, the multi-park passes are also sold per car and include Ikara-Flinders, though they exclude Kangaroo Island. Wilpena Pound Resort, now run by Discovery, sits at the main entrance and handles its own campground, glamping tents, rooms, scenic flights and guided walks, but publishes no day-visitor charge; its powered and unpowered sites must be booked through the resort rather than the park service.
