The lighthouse stands where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet, and there are two tickets. The fully guided tower tour is A$23 adult, A$12 child aged 4 to 16 and A$21 for seniors; it lasts half an hour, climbs 176 steps and departs every 30 minutes through the day. Children must be at least 4 to climb. If you only want the view, the grounds and interpretive centre pass is A$7.50 adult, A$3.50 child and A$6 senior, which also covers the restored waterwheel and the cape walk, and under 4s are free. That cheaper ticket does not get you inside the tower. Open daily 8.45am to 5pm, last entry 4.30pm, closed Christmas Day. Rates hold to 31 March 2027.
