The palace itself is FREE and has no ticket office - it is a working royal residence and visitors walk the outer courtyards between 08:00 and 18:00. Any 'Ubud Palace entrance fee' quoted elsewhere is really a ticket to the evening dance. That performance is around IDR 100,000, sold at the gate and by sellers along Jalan Raya Ubud from about 17:00, but several troupes rotate through the forecourt on different nights and other venues in town sell a Legong at a similar price, so the figure is not recorded here as a fixed one.

The planner warns of wet in January, February, December. Outside those months it says nothing, which is the point — a warning that fires every day is one nobody reads.
