What to know

Jenolan Caves is shut and is selling no tickets. Visitor access to the precinct closed in April 2024 after the Two Mile section of Jenolan Caves Road was wrecked by successive storms between 2021 and 2024, on top of the 2019-20 bushfire and later flood damage. The operator is running major road repairs with a planned reopening in early 2027, and is using the closure for cave maintenance, a Caves House refurbishment and other infrastructure work. No caves are open for tours, so there is no admission price, and the Six Foot Track is also closed between Jenolan Caves House and Binda Bush Cabins. Check the official site before building a Blue Mountains itinerary around it.
