Museum of the Viking Age does not publish a fixed price, so this site will not invent one. Check the official page below.
The old Viking Ship Museum on Bygdoy closed in 2021 and is being rebuilt as the new Museum of the Viking Age, and nothing is open on the site today. The University of Oslo's Museum of Cultural History is planning to open it in November 2027 but says the date could still change, and no ticket prices have been announced. Until then, Viking Age finds can be seen in the VIKINGR and MIDGARDR exhibitions at the Historical Museum in central Oslo, where adult entry is NOK 160 and under-18s go free. Older guidebooks and booking sites may still list the Viking ships as open, so do not plan a Bygdoy trip around them.
