Dalsnibba is reached by the Nibbevegen toll road from Geiranger, which climbs 11 hairpin bends to the Geiranger Skywalk platform at 1,500 metres. There is no ticket per person. The toll is charged per vehicle however many people are inside: NOK 385 for a car or motorhome, NOK 195 for a motorcycle and NOK 3600 for a coach. Cyclists ride up free. Tolls can be bought online until 23:00 the day before, or at the automatic barrier, which works around the clock. The road normally opens in mid-May and closes in late September or October, opening in daytime only late in the season, and snow or ice can close it at short notice. The cafe and shop at the top keep summer hours only.

The planner warns of freezing in January, February, December. Outside those months it says nothing, which is the point — a warning that fires every day is one nobody reads.
Short days. Geiranger, Alesund & Trollstigen gives under 6 hours of daylight in December.
The planner prices a whole day for your exact party, warns about closures and drive times, and totals the trip in your own currency.
