What to know

CLOSED TO VISITORS, and that matters more than any price. The regent of Raja Ampat ordered tourism to Wayag suspended in June 2025 after customary landowners blockaded access in a dispute that followed the revocation of nickel-mining permits in the islands. It was still shut through mid-2026 with no reopening date announced and negotiations stalled. Nothing is priced here because nothing can currently be visited - check before planning around it.
