What to know
Wae Rebo sets its own community levy and no authority publishes it; reported figures spread from about 200,000 for a day visit to 500,000, with an overnight stay including meals commonly put around 325,000. One procedural change does matter and is well attested: since May 2026 you must register and pay in full at the tourist information centre in Dusun Kombo BEFORE walking up - payment in the village is no longer accepted. The walk takes three to four hours.
